Fit
The Nike Jana Star XC 5 Women's Cross Country Shoe keeps the
foot locked in placed without weighing it down. It starts with
lightweight mesh that helps increase airflow and delivers a
flexible, comfortable fit. Strategically placed in key areas,
innovative 3D overlays are fused onto the upper. These work with
the internal arch bandage to keep the foot locked down.
Cushioning
Absorbing impact without bulking up, this cross country shoe has
low-profile Flashlon foam at the midsole. The molded arch helps
enhance the fit, while the articulated heel reduces impact and
helps for a smooth heel to toe transition.
Traction
No matter what the ground is like, the spikes on this shoe
deliver excellent traction. Six removable spikes are housed in an
ultra-durable, lightweight Pebax® plate. The rubber outsole has
additional lugs for extra traction just where you need it.
