No gimmicks running shoe	February 5, 2011

The uppers are very breathable and lightweight. The soles are nearly flat with only a slight rise under the heel and have thin but vey soft cushion with no corrective composition rubber to affect my landing or push-off. There is no extra rubber extending on the sides of the heel that so many running shoes have that provides no benefit for propulsion. This feature makes these shoes perfect for that road bike race for my cross training. I absolutely love these shoes and I use them for half marathons and daily runners. I run approximately 30 mile a week at a 7.30 pace. I am 52 years old have tried every shoe out there. My back up shoes remain the Brooks Launch (too much outer rubber).
