Runner’s Edge is a family owned and operated running store that has been serving the Long Island running community for 37 years.
Founded in 1985 by owner Bob Cook, the first location was established in 1985 in the heart of Farmingdale Village. In April of 2021 a second location was opened at 355 New York Ave in the village of Huntington.
Runner’s Edge is your running and multi-sport headquarters, carrying all the latest footwear, performance apparel and accessories for runners and walkers.
Our mission is to provide the best possible experience for our customers regardless of fitness level. We guarantee your satisfaction whether you are taking your first steps toward an active lifestyle or taking on an extreme endurance event.
Our friendly staff is eager to share their experience, knowledge and enthusiasm of all things running. They’ll help you find the right shoes, clothes and accessories to meet your needs as well as provide information for upcoming runs and multisport events. All are welcome to join in our group runs and special events.
